The Department of Civil Engineering was established during 2010 and as of today nine batches have been passed out. It possess all the facilities to cater the needs of Undergraduate Civil Engineering students. The department has got experienced faculty with good industrial and research experience. It is active in having linkages & MOU with many industries in order to bridge the gap between industry and academia. The department provides testing and consultancy services to various government departments and to the construction industries in and around Idukki. The faculty members have excellent relationship with IISc, IITs, NITS and other reputed universities in the country. The department is proud to have distinguished alumni spread over India and abroad doing excellent works. The department is actively involved in many community services.
