The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) at Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering & Technology, Kuttikkanam, successfully conducted a Technical Invited Talk on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI on 4th December 2025 at the PTA Seminar Hall. The session was led by Mr. Alexy M Binu, Founder and CEO of Aethersphere Ecosystem, Bengaluru. He delivered an insightful talk covering how LLMs work, the rise of Agentic AI, real-world applications, and the future impact of autonomous AI systems. Students were also introduced to industry workflows, deployment practices, and practical challenges in modern AI development. A key highlight of the event was the hands-on demonstration, where participants learned to build a simple AI chatbot using Hugging Face models in Google Colab. This activity enabled students to understand model loading, prompt handling, and generating responses using open-source LLMs. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and exploring new ideas. The event successfully bridged academic learning with real-world industry insights and sparked strong interest among students in LLMs, Agentic AI, and advanced machine learning technologies.
