Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering & Technology is the pioneering educational venture of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in the Engineering and Technological field. The College is owned and managed by the Church. H.H.Baselios Marthoma Didymus I, the supreme head of the Orthodox Church is the Chairman of the College.

The Mission of the Management is to run the college as a centre of excellence both in academic and discipline so as to produce exemplary professionals. We also aim at producing prestigious products for our nation with sound body, mind and soul as the goal of education cannot be anything less than the formation of a wholesome personality. The college endeavors to provide a conducive and congenial milieu where all the three components of a personality - body, mind and soul - grow harmoniously and in perfect equilibrium. The sprawling 77 acre pollution free campus at the bosom of the cozy Kuttikanam hill station provides the proper ambience for the college.
