Press Release Campus Recruitment @MBC by EXL INFOTEL, INDORE

Indore based Telecom and Security Solutions provider EXL INFOTEL visited MBC College of Engineering and Technology campus on December 15th for campus recruitments. It is for the first time that the company is visiting Kerala. 12 students from different engineering branches were selected from the college after robust selection procedures which included written aptitude and technical Test, Group Discussions and Technical and H.R Interview rounds.
Earlier Dr. S. Manimurugan, Head of the Department of Computer Sciences, extended formal welcome, on behalf of the principal, to the HR Team comprised of Mr. Ajish John, Mr. Akhilesh Pandey and Ms. Rinu. They opined that the quality of engineering students are comparatively good and thanked the college management for providing an opportunity to visit the campus.

Workshop at MBCCET
The Training and Placement Department of Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Kuttikkanam, organized a two day workshop for Faculty and three day Student Induction programme for first year students. The training was inaugurated by Dr.Anandakuttan B. Unnithan, Professor of IIMK. Addressing the faculty, he highlighted the significance of enriching technical competency of teaching faculty in Technical Educational Organizations. Following this, Dr. Paul K. Mathew, the Principal of the college, gave a focuse d talk on Effective Career Planning for an Engineering Faculty. A session on the relevance of Student Mentoring and Counseling was taken by Mr. Sunil D. Kuruvilla. Mr. Indulal Sreedharan (Professor,CET) presented an online demonstration of the Use of technology in effective class room teaching. Various sessions such as English For Engineers, Leadership & Team Working Skills, Competency Development, Effective Presentation & communication Skills, Motivation & confidence, Career Planning & Effective Grooming were handled by Mr. Reji. K.S., Mr.Bineesh Menon, Mr. Jubin Joy John, Mr. Ajith Shankar, Mr. Siju Thomas and Mr. Sunil D. Kuruvilla respectively during the induction programme. The six day training paved the way for enhancing the technical knowledge and personal skills of both teaching and student community.
